The Clearing (2004)

Human Drama - Kidnapping - Wealthy man is taken for ransom by kidnapping gang as FBI monitors the negotiations. Excellent acting by Robert Redford (the rich man), Helen Miren (rich man's wife), and Willem Dafoe (kidnapper). Slow-paced but with some interesting insights into the human psyche. 94 min.
