Drama / Biography - Early 1900's New York - Dorothy Day is a human rights activist, leftist, and newspaper journalist during the depression. When she meets a dynamic and loving Catholic nun she is inspired to help the poor and homeless, not unlike the later Mother Theresa. Plenty of challenges. Fine acting, and though a little predictable, this story educates and entertains. 111 min.
